Thank you to members of the Botanical Artists of Canada (BAC) for taking part in a mini-workshop on Silverpoint drawing! Over two hours, I introduced the artists to this unique drawing medium and explained how it can be effectively used in botanical studies.  

This was a shortened class due to BAC having their Annual General Meeting on the same day. I was also booked to teach elsewhere, so unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay and see everyone complete their Silverpoint leaf drawings. I’m sure they all turned out wonderful though - a few artists sent me photos of their beautifully rendered leaves which I’ve included below.

It was wonderful to meet everyone and I hope you all continue to explore the subtle beauty of Silverpoint.
