FLAP 2018 Bird Layout

On Thursday May 17th, FLAP Canada held its annual Bird Layout at the Ontario Science Centre.  The event raises awareness of how window collisions are impacting migratory bird populations, by presenting the victims in a tasteful manner that encourages conversation.

Staff at the Ontario Science Centre did a superb job organizing the event and ensured there was coverage from both local and international media.  FLAP volunteers worked quickly to arrange the bird display and speak to the waves of visitors passing by.  I was helping with the event photography, but did chat with groups of children and teenagers (which I really enjoy doing).
