Thank you to all the amazing people who came out for the Intro to Nature Drawing Workshop at Toronto Botanical Garden! That would be more specifically: Tamila, Stacey, Evan, Jan, Matt, Victoria, Kay, Nancy, Barbara, Deborah, Christine and Vesna.
It was a fabulous 6 weeks of experimenting with different drawing media and subjects from nature. Everyone should be very proud of their artwork! I hope that you all left inspired and will make drawing part of your daily life.
Here are photos from the last day along with pics from an earlier session. Although several people weren’t able to attend the final class, most were present and there was a bit of sadness that the workshop was over.
A special mention goes to Kay Anderson, who at age 86, had never taken an art class till now!
Not only did Kay make some lovely drawings, she now has a new past time to share with her daughters, Barbara and Deborah, who also took part of the workshop. A family that draws together, stays together!
Special thanks to staff at TBG for helping with all the behind the scenes prep work that goes into delivering a class.
