Here are some outstanding drawings from the past two Saturdays; I missed taking photos of some people’s drawings and will share them next time!
The students have been learning how to depict skulls & bird nests (not easy subjects to draw) using Red Chalk and Willow Charcoal. On top of getting acquainted with a new medium each class, I’m gradually exposing them to more and more drawing techniques that will enable them to handle a broad range of subject matter once their done with the classes and on their own.
There's a lot to take in each week, and there's some struggle involved, but that's what makes learning a new skill so much fun.
Up next, the students will be drawing Driftwood and Gnarled Branches!
