I’m happy to announce that my Note Cards are now available for purchase!
Those who’ve been following me will have seen these drawings develop from the earliest sketches into the final pencil renderings that appear on the cards.
They are priced at $10.80 for a set of 3 Note Cards with matching envelopes. Delivery is also included.
At this time, I can only accept online orders from customers living in Canada.
I’ll be donating 50% of the proceeds to these 4 amazing charities, all of which do important work in the areas of rehabilitation, education and conservation:
Funds raised for these non-profit groups will be put to good use.
In case you’re wondering where the money goes, here’s how each card breaks down:
It costs $1.80 to produce a single card. That includes the printing, Canada Post delivery, matching envelopes, the Stay Flat shipping envelope, credit card processing fees and website transaction fees.
That leaves $1.80 and I’m splitting that amount 50/50.
90 cents goes to Conservation
90 cents goes to the Artist
I should also mention that I didn’t approach just any company to print the cards. I chose to work with a woman named Gail Lenters who runs a printing business by day, while at night and on weekends, she treats injured animals. Deer, skunks, rabbits, you name it, she’ll take them into her care. The printing business is what helps pay the bills at her wildlife rehab facility, Shades of Hope.
When I began creating the cards, I wanted to ensure that everyone involved would benefit and that the customer can feel good about their purchase. My other thought was for the cards to shine a spotlight on issues needing attention and the communities working on solutions.
